I recently had the pleasure of joining Olga Belobrova of TraveLot France for a private wine tour in the Cahors vineyards as part of a new collaboration with the Le Moulin Luxury Villa Collection. Olga’s extensive knowledge of the wines of Cahors and the Lot Valley, combined with her engaging storytelling, made it such a memorable day. We visited Château Lagrézette and Domaine Les Croisille - two very unique wineries, each with their own particular story. A highlight was our picnic in the shade of a small forest overlooking the valley — a beautiful moment that perfectly captured the spirit of the region and cemented our love for the Lot. My husband and I hired Olga to drive us to Cahors while touring two wineries in the area. This region produces some of our very favorite wines so this was a very memorable experience while in France. Olga was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and we learned (and tasted) a lot. The wine makers were so welcoming and thrilled to talk about their passion.
